Thanksgiving and our Third Anniversary of the Wednesday Latin Night.

Our third anniversary is coming up. Unfortunately, One will be closed for a private party the night before Thanksgiving.

Great news though! Leonard Clarke (of The Mansion) has been gracious enough to have our TWO DAY CELEBRATION at The Mansion. Here's how the party will be:

The Eve of Thanksgiving (Wednesday, November 24) we will begin our celebration at The Mansion. The times will run exactly as they do on Friday nights. Class 8:00 - 9:30pm and open dancing until 2:00am. Cover is the same as Friday night.
Those who attend Wednesday night will receive a discount coupon which will allow you to enter on Friday night at anytime (November 26) for COVER OF ONLY $5. You will keep your coupon on Friday night as there will be drawings for TWO $75 GIFT CERTIFICATES for dinner at Red Maple (if you've never eaten there you're missing a real treat of amazing food and impeccable service)

Wednesday, November 17 - 7:30 - 9:00pm - INTERMEDIATE (SPICY)
You have a basic understanding of the dance & music and are gaining a greater capacity to move from one pattern to the next. You’re also able to execute more turns, hand changes & directional changes with better balance and more styling. So, this level would consist of one or more of the following:
1) Basic body movement & styling.
2) More intricate patterns utilizing a variety of hand holds and dance positions.
3) Introduction of Partnership and Technique including Latin footwork, leg action and the use of the center of the body to lead and follow.

Wednesday, November 24 (Held At The Mansion) - BEGINNER (INTRODUCTION)
This class will start at the beginning with the basics. It is for those who have had little or no Salsa. We will always begin with the basic and then do several basic elements. Each time this class is taught, we will introduce different elements. We will end this class each time with a different basic combination utilizing the elements taught in that particular class so you get used to putting the elements together (as in a puzzle) without a basic step in between.

Friday, November 19 - 8:00 - 9:30pm - BEGINNER (INTRODUCTION)

Friday, November 26 - 8:00 - 9:30pm - ADVANCED BEGINNER (MILD)
Those people coming to this class will have had some initial Salsa classes and learned ALL the basic elements (including outside and inside turns; cross body lead, right side pass, etc.). So, this level would consist of one or more of the following:
1) Fundamental combinations. Ones used most frequently on the dance floor. 
2) Leading & following techniques.
3) Understanding the rhythm & timing.
